Historic Service – Sundays 9AM This is often called the Traditional Lutheran worship service. It is a very beautiful and meaningful, following a fairly structured and standard order every week. The hymns we sing at these services are usually traditional and are accompanied by the organ or piano. We used the Divine Services and Hymns from the Lutheran Service Book Hymnal.
Modern Service – Sundays 11AM Since there are so many words and songs to express our thankfulness for what God has done, these services are offered to express our thanks using those words and songs as God feeds us though Word and sacraments. The Blended Service and Contemporary service switch back and forth during the month. Usually the first and third Sundays are Blended and the second and fourth are Contemporary.
Blended Service This service is a mixture of a variety of different orders of worship and music. We use hymns from a variety of hymnals and song books. The structure of the service is not always the same. One thing we guarantee is the same is this service is centered around Christ as he gives us his gifts of Words, baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Contemporary Service As we gather around Christ as He serves us in His words and sacraments the praise team helps leads us in our responses, Scripture readings and prayers. They have different instruments assisting: piano, drums, guitars, etc. This service does not necessarily mean new but a different style.
